Sun, 26 October 2008 ![]() During its 85-episode run, ChronoRadio featured a total of eight Serial Editions. These episodes were short prose fiction, read in the form of an audiobook, but featured voice actors for all spoken dialogue, resulting in an "enhanced audiobook" experience, something between an "audiobook" and an "audio drama." The second of these tales was entitled Matted. It was the result of a contest in which fans could write in with their own stories in hopes of having theirs chosen and made into the next Serial Edition. The winner, in this case, was Michael Galasso. Here, we present ChronoRadio: Serial Edition IV, better known as Matted. (One should note that even though the story Everything Changes was released as Serial Editions VI - VIII, they have already been released via the feed alongside Nothing Changes. This makes Matted the final Serial Edition.) STARRING: Brian Bisetti; Lila Atherley; Michael Haspil; and Nathan P. Butler WRITTEN by Michael Galasso MIXED by Nathan P. Sun, 12 October 2008 ![]() In 1996, Dark Horse Comics released the oft-forgotten Star Wars one-shot comic book Tales from Mos Eisley. Among the anthology comic's stories was the story of an old spacer, known as Hegg's Tale. Nearly a decade later (2005), Ear Candy's Steve Fluharty (acclaiimed mixer of Nothing Changes, the Holo-Advertisements series, and two episodes of Anthology) has produced an audio drama adaptation of Hegg's Tale. Thus, Ear Candy presents Tales from Mos Eisley: The Old Timer's Tale. Listen, as the short story comes to life.* STARRING: Steve Fluharty ORIGINAL STORY by Bruce Jones AUDIO SCRIPT by Steve Fluharty MIXED by Steve Fluharty *We should note that no one involved in this website or Fluharty's project claims any rights over the original story that is adapted in this audio drama. In other words, Fluharty and his team have made this in homage of Mr. Jones' excellent tale, but the project exists at Dark Horse's suffrance, and the creators do not wish to annoy any parties involved. Just let us know if it should be removed, Dark Horse. Until then, we thank you for your indulgence, and hope that fans enjoy this audio interpretation of the tale. Sun, 12 October 2008 ![]() The exploits of the Republic Commando units during the Clone Wars have served to form the basis for numerous stories, including the Republic Commando video game (featuring Delta Squad) and the novels Hard Contact (featuring Omega Squad) and Triple Zero (featuring both Omega and Delta Squads). Another story found its way into Star Wars Insider. That story was Karen Traviss' Omega Squad: Targets. Among the many fans of Targets is Dany Pepin, whose support for Traviss' work and several interviews with Traviss on his radio show, Star Wars en Direct, earned himself a namesake character in Traviss' short story Two-Edge Sword. Now, Pepin is returning the favor with a new way to experience Omega Squad: Targets. The result is this, the very first audio drama from Dany Pepin's Creative Audioscape Productions.* STARRING: Shawn Crosby; Joe Harrison; Andrew Gilbertson; Steve Fluharty; Ara Pelodi; Nathan P. Now, almost a decade after the show's original premiere in 1999, the Star Wars Fanworks Audio Feed is proud to present, in association with LucienMaier.com, the full library of the original Jedi Talk radio show episodes. Each episode, when in segments, has been merged into one file per show, providing an uninterrupted experience, and compressed into standard quality (similar to that used for Rayzur's Edge Audio's ChronoRadio) for faster download. Here, we present Episode 42 of the Jedi Talk series. HOSTS: Victor Lucien Maier (Darion Blade); Eugene Cash (Lars Quillion); and Mark Hendersen (Kal Thanos) (Jedi Talk series originally released 1999 - 2002) You can visit the Jedi Talk team on MySpace here: http://www.myspace.com/jeditalk More information: http://www.starwarsfanworks.com/jeditalk.html Comments[0] |

Tue, 30 September 2008 ![]() During its 85-episode run, ChronoRadio featured a total of eight Serial Editions. These episodes were short prose fiction, read in the form of an audiobook, but featured voice actors for all spoken dialogue, resulting in an "enhanced audiobook" experience, something between an "audiobook" and an "audio drama." The first of these tales was entitled Parallels. It follows the story of three young Jedi in a scenario that is presented from three different perspectives (one per episode), each of which builds upon what we've seen in the other parts to reveal the truth of the situation. The perspectives of each episode, thus, run "in parallel" with each other. Here, we present ChronoRadio: Serial Edition III, better known as Parallels, Part III. STARRING: Mike Lane; Ian Bowie; Krista Kolesar; and Nathan P. Butler WRITTEN by Nathan P. Butler MIXED by Nathan P. Butler (CR series originally released by Rayzur's Edge Audio, 2002 - 2007) More information: http://www.starwarsfanworks.com/chronoradio.html Comments[0] |
