Robbie Chastain's Star Wars and Beyond (SWAB) ran from 2004 through 2007, going through one apparent cancellation of its "Version 1" run before returning for "Version 2" in 2005. Now, Chastain is gearing up to relaunch the series again in 2008. In the lead up to this relaunch, we are presenting the original Star Wars and Beyond library here in the Star Wars Fanworks Audio Feed . . . with a twist.

Among the many classic episodes that will come through the feed, we will also be presenting never-before-heard Special Edition re-edits of several key episodes, produced by Robbie Chastain over the last few months, allowing fans to, if we may paraphrase the Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition commercials, hear them again . . . for the first time.

This time, we present Episode V of the original Version I run of Star Wars and Beyond.

HOST: Robbie Chastain

GUESTS: Jeff Roney; Nathan P. Butler

From 1999 to 2002, Jedi Talk was the first online radio show based entirely on Lucas' saga. During its run, Jedi Talk aired episodes live via streaming technology, inviting listeners to join in the experience every Sunday night for nearly three years. The team also managed to score live interviews with notable Star Wars personalities. This, friends, was our beginning . . .

Now, almost a decade after the show's original premiere in 1999, the Star Wars Fanworks Audio Feed is proud to present, in association with LucienMaier.com, the full library of the original Jedi Talk radio show episodes. Each episode, when in segments, has been merged into one file per show, providing an uninterrupted experience, and compressed into standard quality (similar to that used for Rayzur's Edge Audio's ChronoRadio) for faster download.

Here, we present Episode 24 of the Jedi Talk series.

HOSTS: Victor Lucien Maier (Darion Blade); Eugene Cash (Lars Quillion); and Mark Hendersen (Kal Thanos)

(Jedi Talk series originally released 1999 - 2002)

Thirty years have passed since the Mandalorian Wars.

The Jedi, all but obliterated by their civil wars, have risen again but are looked up on with scorn.

The Repubilc, sure in its final victory over the Sith years ago, has forgotten that to shine is to cast a shadow . . .

Two fans of the Tales of the Jedi and Knights of the Old Republic era of Star Wars storytelling, Devin Cox and Jenna Wilson, have set about creating a multi-chapter fan fiction tale set in the same era, utilizing original characters.

Now, the duo have launched an audio dramatization of their series. Welcome to the world of Knights of the Old Republic: Outcasts.

Slated to consist of a total of seven episodes, covering events in the eight chapters of the written fan fiction tale, we begin presenting Outcasts with its first two currently released episodes. More episodes will follow as they are released by Devin Cox.

Here, we present a new, revised edition of the third episode, Done Deals. (The only change from its original release via Star Wars Fanworks is that the music levels have been tweaked to make dialogue easier to hear.)

STARRING: Sarah Moore; Devin Cox; Joe Harrison; Hazen Nester; Silas Carder; Nathan P. Butler; Andrew Gilbertson; Catherine Rinella; Melissa D. Johnson; Jim Perry; and others

WRITTEN by Devin Cox and Jenna Wilson

MIXED by Joe Devin Cox

(Original version released by Forward Momentum Productions in 2008; final revised version released by Forward Momentum Productions in 2008)

Here, we present a new, revised edition of the second episode, Convergence.

We should briefly note what is different from its earlier releases:

The Original Release was released as several separate files, rather than one single file.

Later, for its release via the Star Wars Fanworks Audio Feed, the episode was recut into a single file.

Since then, Donna L. Charles has dropped out of the production, necessitating that the characters Liana and Selene Bladedancer be recast to Catherine Rinella and Melissa D. Johnson, respectively. This duo appeared in the third episode of the series, so new versions of the first two episodes were produced to replace the original actress. That bring us to the edition before us today.

So, download, sit back, and enjoy the saga as it unfolds, begining with this extensively revised edition of the second episode, Convergence.

Slated to consist of a total of seven episodes, covering events in the eight chapters of the written fan fiction tale, we begin presenting Outcasts with its first two currently released episodes. More episodes will follow as they are released by Devin Cox.

Here, we present a new, revised edition of the first episode, Wing and Smoke.

We should briefly note what is different from its earlier releases:

The Original Release was released as several separate files, rather than one single file, and featured Devin Cox as Aeron Rhade.

After Aeron Rhade was recast to Hazen Nester for the second episode, the first episode was revised to have Nester in the role. This was the edition previously released through the Star Wars Fanworks Audio Feed.

Finally, the overly-loud music from this episode has been lowered since the previous revision, making this, as far as we know, the final edition of Wing and Smoke.

So, download, sit back, and enjoy the saga as it unfolds, begining with this extensively revised edition of the first episode, Wing and Smoke.
